Thanks for the pics. I soo wanted to go this year, but life just wasn't going to let it happen. I think that's two years in a row I haven't been, so based on prior track record, that means I'll be there for the next three. Kewl!

Cornerstone as seen on Flickr

Flickr.com is a very popular way to share pictures on the net. So when I got back from Cornerstone 2005 I did a search for Cornerstone at flickr and found over 800 pictures most from the festival.

I'll be adding a new section for flickr firends for people who've posted Cornerstone pics.

Cornerstone Wrap Up #4

Confessions of a Flabby Ironman has a greate serries on being at Cornerstone 2005. He was on the offical web team so he had good net access. Unfortunatly he doesn't publish an archive index, so there's no easy way to link to the entire set. See it while it's still on his main page.

One of the things the offical team did was put together a set of pod casts by none other than Allan Aguirre of Scatered Few and Sky Glass Blue. Think of it as CStone Radio!

Cornerstone Wrap Up #3

Suzi (SwanSmith) Blogged from Cornerstone on Saturday and Sunday, her posts cover everything from weather to her thoughts on Brian McLaren. She also bloged her family's return from Cornerstone and the fact that she played host to your truely. Thanks again Suzi, we had great time :)

Suzi's sister Cheri was a Conerstone newbie this year. She seems to have adapted quickly from her post blogging from Cornerstone

The good thing about being near the main stage is that you can hear the music. The bad thing about being near the main stage is that you can hear the music. Until midnight. At least.

She has a post on some of the random Things seen at Cornerstone and observations on a trip home. Wraping up with some post fest thoughts about labels or people-in-a-box and how the fest brings together a wide range of unique people.

Of course I'll be adding Cheri to the blog roll.

Suzi's husband Tim has added his review of The documentry
Why Should the Devil Have all the Good Music to his blog. I covered the rest of his posts in the first wrap up. I caught the same showing and think Tim's review is dead on.

Cornerstone Wrap Up #2

Scott of Hardcore Poetics did a very detailed pre-cornerstone post and has posted about his post-Cornerstone depression.

Chris Rice blogs his fest experience. Just a bit of context, Chris is part of JPUSA who put on the Cornerstone fest.

Dr. Tony Shore posts his thoughts and pics about CORNERSTONE 2005. Meeting Tony in person was one of my goals this year. Back in the day, when I was a DJ at CJSR Tony was the first label guy to send me music. Not only that but he showed me how to get on reporting charts that made it easier to get music from other labels. I got to thank him and gave him a big hug.

Steve White was part of the official web team and had good net access from the fest. You can find Pics and posts on two of his archive pages.
